NEXCONEC® Armored Patch Cords are suitable for harsh environmental conditions without the need for additional protection. They are typically used in industrial environments, outdoor to indoor telecommunication networks, FTTx, FTTH and some critical applications. The patch cords provide sturdy interconnectivity to active equipment, passive optical devices and cross-connects. Armoured patch cords come double armoured with steel tape for better crush resistance and aramid yarn for better tensile strength. Through this they have a high durability and a good crush resistance to ensure a longer life.
